The Christian Initial Teacher Education (CITE) Alliance is made up of six Christian schools; Chairo Christian School, Crest Education, Donvale Christian College, Flinders Christian Community College, Maranatha Christian School, and Waverley Christian College, in partnership with two Christian tertiary providers; Eastern College Australia, and Christian Heritage College, who are accredited for Mutual Recognition with other state’s Teacher Registration Boards and the Australian Government's Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA).
The CITE Alliance provides a Christ-focused, innovative, practical teacher training program where participants:
are placed in a classroom from the first day of their degree.
study teaching at either Eastern College Australia or Christian Heritage College
enjoy a tailored learning program that assists them to be classroom-ready teachers.
